Hazel Cole Hazel Kettring Cole, 85, 565 E. Market St., Celina, died at 4:07 a.m. Oct. 31, 2005, at St. Rita's Hospital, Lima,. Death was due to cancer. She was born April 9, 1920, in Montezuma to C. Boyd and Minnie Arnold Kettring. On May 17, 1941, she married Robert Cole, who died June 30, 1993. Surviving are two sons, Robert (Jeanie) of Troy, and Tom of Montezuma; two daughters, Susan (Don) Heyne, Centerville, and Stacy (Joe) Sanders, Celina; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She and her husband co-owned Cole's IGA Market from 1946 to 1987, Cole's Drive-in Restaurant from 1950-1971 and Cole's Motel from 1950 to present. She was a 1938 graduate of Celina High School and a member of Ars Nova and Order of Eastern Star. She was a lifelong member of the Montezuma Church of Christ and former president of the J.O.Y. Circle at the church. Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. James Wagner and Kevin Neumann officiating. Pallbearers to Swamp College Cemetery will be Tom, Rebecca, and Brent Cole, Julie Cole Fleck, Tammy Cole Garwick, Melissa and Erin Heyne and Kelly and Cole Sanders, grandchildren of the deceased. Anthony " Tony" Steinbrunner, 83, 80 E. Main St., Montezuma, died the morning of Nov. 1, 2005, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Montezuma. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-9:45 a.m. at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater, where arrangements are pending. |
