Mary Vondenhuevel Mary Katherine Vondenhuevel, 74, 545 S. Franklin St., Apt. B, Versailles, died at 4:37 a.m. Nov. 2, 2005, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Sidney. She was born June 21, 1931, in Sidney, to Paul and Ruby Streete Epler. On September 28, 1955, she married Robert G. Vondenhuevel, who died Oct. 10, 2002. Survivors are five sons, James of Marion, David (Margo) of Cincinnati, Jon Frank (Linda), of St. Marys, Douglas (Jennifer) of Coldwater, and Jeffrey of Dayton; two daughters, Doreen Wyen of Conn., and Julia (Michael) Matthieu, Versailles; a sister, Betty (Bob) Hoover, Oklahoma City, Okla.; 16 grandchildren and a great grandchild. She retired from the Copeland Corp., Sidney, and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Anna United Methodist Church. She attended Sidney High School. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday, at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, the Rev. Alice Wolfe officiating. Burial is in German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen. Rockford native, Richard "Dick" Waldo, 80, of Wauseon, died Nov. 1, 2005, at his home. He was born Dec. 27, 1924, in Rockford. On July 28, 1944, he married Onalee Rhodes, who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Kathy (Chuck) Ondo, Toledo, Chris (Alan) Simon, Rockford, Robin (Rob) Pennell, Delta, and Dawn of Wauseon; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Deceased are two brothers and a great-grandchild. He was a steamfitter and member of Local 50 for over 60 years. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy. He assisted in construction of Hope Christian Fellowship Church, Wauseon. Memorial Service is 2 p.m. Nov. 12, 2005, at the church.
