Barbara Bernhold

Barbara Jean Bernhold, 62, 53 S. Hamilton St., Minster, died at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 8, 2005, at her home. She had a six-year battle with leiomyosarcoma.
   She was born Aug. 26, 1943, in Fort Loramie, to Leonard and Alvina Holt-haus Peltier. On Oct. 2, 1965, she married Robert L. Berhnhold, who survives.
   Also surviving are three sons, Jeffrey (Brenda) of Tipp City, Matthew of Springboro, and Andrew (Kelly) of New Bremen; a daughter, Kimberly (Tony) Ramires, Avon Lake; two brothers, Roger Peltier, Versailles, and Michael (Pam) Peltier, Fort Loramie; three sisters, Phyllis Guderrama, Westminster, Calif., Janet (Joe) Szijarto, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Deborah (Jerry) Walter, Troy; and six grandchildren.
   Deceased are a brother and sister, who died in infancy.
   She was retired from Apria Healthcare. She was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, a former member of their folk group and a communion distributor.
   Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Louis Schmit officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.
   Calling is 1-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-9:30 a.m. Monday at Hogen-kamp Funeral Home, Minster.

Cecelia Hurm

Former St. Marys resident, Cecelia "Sally" Hurm, 92, of Columbus, died at 4:15 p.m. Dec. 3, 2005, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
   She was born June 30, 1913, in Lima, to Frank and Virginia Musto Bonanno. On Jan. 29, 1939, she married Richard Hurm, who died Dec. 18, 1982.
   Survivors are a son, Robert (Carol) of Celina; three daughters, Mary Jo (Dr. Michael) Peters, Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Virginia Hurm and Carol Candace (Gary) Wannemacher, all of Columbus; a brother, Nicholas (Dorothy) Bonanno, Phoenix, Ariz.; and seven grandchildren.
   Deceased are six sisters, Angelina Painter, Lucia Mikesell, Irene Infante, Mary DeVita, Sister Marie Agnese C.PP.S., and Antoinette Sealts; and two brothers, Francis and Ernest Bonanno.
   She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, and was active in the St. Marys Music Club, the church choir and the St. Marys Art Club.
   Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Anthony Cutcher officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys.
   Calling is 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
   Contributions can be made to the church choir or Riverside Hospital Senior Health Care.

Marvin Mott

Marvin L. Mott, 95, 303 N. Elm St., Fort Recovery, died at 12:01 p.m. Dec. 8, 2005, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
   He was born Sept. 12, 1910, in Fort Recovery, to Delphos and Nora Heis Mott. On June 12, 1937, he married Ruth Bryan, who survives.
   Also surviving are a son, Dean (Suzanne) of Loveland; a daughter, Linda (Seth) Cunningham, Fort Wayne, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Florence of Fort Recovery; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
   Deceased are two brothers, Milo and Vernon.
   He was a retired farmer. He graduated in 1928 from the Fort Recovery High School, played in the Fort Recovery town band from 1920 to 1940 and was a member of the Fort Recovery Methodist Church.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, the Rev. Robert Dungan officiating. Burial is at Greenmound Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
   Calling is 1-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
   Contributions can be made to State of the Heart Home Health and Hospice or the Fort Recovery United Methodist Church.
