Gwen Ashbaugh Gwen Ashbaugh, 60, 1100 Myers Road, Celina, died at 1:22 a.m. Jan. 5, 2006, at Celina Manor Nursing Home, following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born May 13, 1945, in Celina, to John and Lela Hoenie McMillan. Her mother survives in Coldwater. On Jan. 4, 1975, she married Owen "Red" Ashbaugh, who died April 29, 2002. Also surviving are two brothers, Tom (Sharon) McMillan, Coldwater, and Larry (Judy) McMillan, Walworth, N.Y.; and a sister, Gayle (Bill) Davis, Tucson, Ariz. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Celina. Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Coldwater United Methodist Church, the Rev. Alan Brown officiating. Burial is at Macedon Cemetery in rural Coldwater. Contributions can be made to the Celina Area Visiting Nurses & State of the Heart Home Health & Hospice. Floyd E. Grier, 89, 10491 U.S. 127, Mendon, died at 11:15 p.m. Jan. 4, 2006, at Colonial Nursing Home, Rockford. He was born Dec. 1, 1916, in Coldwater, to William and Mary Snyder Grier. On Oct. 6, 1940, he married Mary Beogher, who died in 1950. On July 7, 1951, he married Helen Hole, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Larry (Kim) of Celina, and Bill A. (Cindy) and James H. Sr. (Lana), all of Mendon; raised by the family, Don L. (Eva) Miller, Mendon; sister, Dorotha Shank, Cridersville; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Deceased are two brothers, Jonny and Gerald; and two sisters, Nellie and Ema. He was retired from Grier's Power Digging, Mendon, and a member of the Unity Grange. Services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Mercer United Methodist Church, the Rev. Kenny Baker officiating. Burial is at Mercer Cemetery, Mendon. Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina. copy: Donald E. Karch, 68, 8448 Now Road, Celina, died at 3 a.m. Jan. 5, 2006, at Mercer Health, Coldwater. He was born June 23, 1937, in Celina, to Albert and Ruth Eichenauer Karch. On Feb. 14, 1959, he married Nancy Warner, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Jeff (Annie) of Pataskala, John (Michele) of Celina, and Jerry (Lisa) of Wapakoneta; a daughter, Jenny (David) Eisenschmidt, Coldwater; and eight grandchildren. He was a retired farmer and a 1955 Celina High School graduate. He was a Gideon and member of Grace Missionary Church, Celina. He was a member of the Fall Harvest Festival committee, Hopewell Township Zoning Board and Buckeye Farm Antiques. Services are 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church, the Rev. Mike Spencer officiating. Everett Scott Troyer, 32, 565 E. Market St., Celina, died Jan. 2, 2006, at his residence. An investigation by the Celina Police Department and Mercer County Coroner Dr. Timothy Heinrichs indicated the death was accidental due to an apparent overdose of prescription medication. He was born May 20, 1973, in Rensselaer, Ind., to Everett E. and Leona LeLoup Troyer. Survivors are a sister, Opal Marie Napier, Celina. Deceased are his parents. He attended New Life Apostolic Church, Celina. Services are 2:30 p.m Monday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
