Charles Clopp Charles A. Clopp, 42, 537 Touvelle St., Celina, died Jan. 25, 2006, in an automobile accident on U.S. 33 near St. Marys. He was born Nov. 15, 1963, in Greenville, to Charles and Kathryn Nelson Clopp. Survivors are a daughter, Charlene of Columbus; two sisters, Tina (Alex) Anspach, St. Marys, and Maryann of Tampa, Fla.; a step-father, Donald Nelson, Celina; and a grandson. His parents are deceased. He was a self-employed painter and tree-trimmer. Services are 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the New Life Apostolic Church, Celina, the Rev. Larry G. Fries officiating. Catherine "Kate" Flaugher, 91, 330 N. Main St., St. Marys, died at 9:51 p.m. Jan. 26, 2006, at her home. She was born Feb. 10, 1914, in Canton, to Earl and Myrtle Beck Hill. On June 24, 1933, she married Homer Flaugher who died Feb. 24, 1964. Surviving are three sons, Richard of Coldwater, David of Apollo Beach, Fla., and Steven (Barbara) of St. Marys; a daughter, Victoria (Mark) Rhodus, Cincinnati; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A brother, the Rev. Howard Hill, is deceased. She retired as a nurse's aide from Joint Township District Memorial Hospital and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, both of St. Marys. Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens near St. Marys. Lucille S. Keifer, 83, 1010 Clover Lane, Celina, died at 8:39 p.m. Jan. 25, 2006, at the St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was born July 6, 1922, in Madison, Neb., to Herman and Martha Schmidt Blank. On Feb. 16, 1947, she married Donald J. Keifer who died, May 24, 1995. Survivors are two sons, James (Linda) of Fort Wayne, Ind. and David of Celina; a daughter, Donna Pyburn, Spring, Texas; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Deceased are two sisters, Dorothy Betz and Evelyn Blank; and a son-in-law, James Pyburn. She was a typing and an english teacher for Celina City schools, retiring in 1984.She graduated from Stanton High Shool, Nebraska, and Wayne State Teachers College, Neb. She received her masters degree in teaching from St. Francis College, Fort Wayne. She was a member of and Sunday school teacher at Grace Missionary Church, Celina. Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Bruce Head officiating. Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens. David F. Lehman, 79, 707 W. Market St., Rockford, died the morning of Jan. 25, 2006, at Veteran's Administration Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind. He was born June 4, 1926, in Mercer County, to John and Matilda Ellen Schott Lehman. On Dec. 28, 1976, he married Mary Lou Emerson, who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Jerry (Sonya) of Decatur, Ind., Ron (Barb) of Frostproof, Fla., David Jr. (Sylvia) of Maria Stein, and Jack (Tina) of St. Marys; a daughter, Judy (Greg) Thomas, Frostproof; two step-sons, Terry (Nicole) Sites, Van Wert, and Farron Sites, Celina; mother-in-law, Dorothy Emerson, Rockford; four sisters-in-law, Suzanne (Art) Christie, Gloria (Fred) Vann, Helen King and Betty (Larry) Houser, all of Rockford; and several grandchildren. Deceased are a brother John Lehman; and a sister, Katherine Lehman. He was retired from the maintenance department at Huffy Bicycles. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving overseas in World War II. He was a member of Celina Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 5713. Services are 11 a.m. Monday at W.H. Ruth C. Obringer, 79, of Spencerville, died at 8:52 p.m. in St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, where she was a patient since Jan. 14, 2006. She was born July 23, 1926, in New Bremen, to Elmer H. and Hermina W. Topp Mohrman. She was married to Alvin A. Obringer, who is deceased. Survivors are three sons, Dale (Starr), Steven (Judith) and Neal (Manetta), all of Spencerville; eight daughters, Carol (Gary) Moon, New Bremen, Diane (Melvin) Morris, Wapakoneta, Linda of Caryville, Tenn., Shirley (Geoffrey) Hall, Lima, Lois (Dennis) Osting, Delphos, Nancy (Tracy) Sterling, Van Wert, Marcia Bartelheim, Spencerville, and Anita (Shane) Sutherland, Spencerville; two brothers, Paul (Rose) Mohrman, Minster, and John (Carol) Mohrman, New Bremen; a sister, Mary Mohrman, Seattle, Wash.; a daughter-in-law, Debra Wells, Wapakoneta; a sister-in-law, Ada Mohrman, Raymondsville, Mo.; 30 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Deceased are a son, Roger; two brothers, Herman and Earl Mohrman; a son-in-law, Carl Lee Carmean; and a great-grandson. She was a seamstress and homemaker. She worked at Ohio Decorative Products and operated A & R Restuarant, both in Spencerville; Zofkie's, Wapkoneta; and Harters Office Furniture, Van Wert. She was a 1944 graduate of New Bremen High School and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Spencerville. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. John Fleck officiating. Kevin L. Springer, 39, 537 Touvelle St., Celina, died the afternoon of Jan. 25, 2006, from injuries received in a single vehicle accident on U.S. 33, near St. Marys. He was born April 6, 1966, in Celina, to Norman and Jessie Kendall Springer. On May 28, 2002, he married Lori Ahlers, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Jeremy Springer, Celina; a step-daughter, Jessica Habegger, Bluffton, Ind.; two brothers, J.D. and Mark Springer, both of Celina; and father and mother-in-law, Dave and Judy Ahlers, St. Henry. Deceased are his parents. He attended Celina High School and Celina Baptist Temple. Graveside services are 2 p.m. at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina. Calling is noon to 1:45 p.m. Saturday at W.H.
