Belva Christian

Belva Christian, 76, of Mendon, died this morning Feb. 21, 2006.
   Arrangements are pending with Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.


Geraldine Longwith

Geraldine Longwith, 91, 11049 East Shelby Road, St. Marys, died at 9 a.m. Feb. 20, 2006, at Valley Nursing Home, St. Marys.
   She was born May 2, 1914, at her lifelong home, to Ed and Letta Custer Longwith.
   There are no direct family survivors. She is survived by her friends and neighbors, Gladys and Larry (Paula) Fledderjohann, all of St. Marys.
   She attended Carter Creek School and Memorial High School.
   Graveside services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys, the Rev. David Williams officiating.
   Calling is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
   Contributions can be made to Radio Broadcast Fund of the First United Church of Christ, New Knoxville.


Gene Moeller

Former New Bremen resident, Gene "PeeWee" W. Moeller, 60, 307 Greenville Road, St. Marys, died at 10:48 p.m. Feb. 19, 2006, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. Death was due to an extended illness.
   He was born July 29, 1945, in Lima, to Warren T. and Beverly D. Fischbach Moeller.
   Survivors are two sons, Jeffrey, Minster, and Michael, New Bremen; a daughter, Angela, Wapakoneta; a sister, Pam (Jim) Elking, St. Marys; and former wife, Diane, New Bremen.
   He was retired from production at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, St. Marys. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, New Bremen, and participated in area bowling leagues.
   Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. John Tostrick officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove cemetery, St. Marys.
   Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.


Beulah Morgan

Beulah Morgan, 84, of Celina, died this morning Feb. 21, 2006, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
   Arrangements are pending at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina.


Frances Partin

Frances A. Partin, 68, 304 3rd Avenue, Coldwater, died at 11:20 a.m. Feb. 20, 2006, at her residence.
   She was born Aug. 4, 1937, in Pineville, Ky. Her father, Herbert Partin, mother, Elizabeth Williams, and her stepmother, Vivian Partin, are deceased.
   Survivors are a son, Norman Springer, Coldwater; a daughter, Nicla (Danny) Gates, Coldwater; a brother, Kenneth (Sharon), Union City; two sisters, Sue, Coldwater, and Ida (Larry) Fraley, LaFollette, Tenn.; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
   Deceased are two sons, Michael and Jeffrey Springer and two brothers, Randall Lee and John Thomas Partin.
   She retired from Huffy Bicycle Company, Celina.
   Services are 7 p.m. Wednesday at the W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Lee Ellis officiating. Burial will be at Ridge Cemetery, Van Wert.
   Calling is after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.


Mary Alice Youngs

Mary Alice Youngs, 77, 16 Cardinal Lane, New Bremen, died at 11:10 p.m. Feb. 19, 2006, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
   She was born March 9, 1928, in Wapakoneta, to Joseph P. and Caroline Brands Doorley. On Oct. 30, 1953, she married Richard O. Youngs, who died Jan. 3, 1993.
   Survivors are three sons, Jay (Robin), Brecksville, Timothy (Cathy), Zionsville, Ind., and Todd (Laura), St. Louis, Mo.; a daughter, Amy (William) Kramer, Columbus; two brothers, Gerald (Jeanette) Doorley, Westerville, and Mark (Mary Rita) Doorley, Lima; a sister, Jane McCoy, Kettering; and five grandchildren.
   Deceased are a son and daughter who died in infancy, Richard and Margaret.
   She retired in May 1987 from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, St. Marys, where she was an administrative assistant. She was a member of the Church of Holy Redeemer, New Bremen. She was president of the parish council and involved in the Lay Eucharistic Ministry. She was a member of the American Legion Post 241 Auxiliary and a former Cub Scout Den Mother, New Bremen.
   Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church the Rev. Thomas Mannebach officiating. Burial is at the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
   Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
   Contributions can be made to the church memorial fund or the New Bremen Emergency Squad.
