James Bubp

James E. Bubp, 58, 805 Townview Drive, St. Marys, died at 5:30 p.m. March 22, 2006, at his residence.
   Arrangements are pending at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.


Veronica Campbell

Veronica "Bonnie" Campbell, 88, a resident at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community, St. Marys, died at 5:40 p.m. March 21, 2006 at Otterbein.
   She was born May 10, 1917, in Baltimore, Md., to Bernard and Sarah Bailey Lee. On March 17, 1943, she married John W. Campbell, who died Jan. 14, 2002.
   Survivors are three sons, John Jr. (Barbara), Leavenworth, Kan., Kevin (Sherry Hammond), Arlington, Texas, and Brian, Columbus; a daughter, Patricia Olin, Palatine, Ill.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
   Deceased are a brother and three sisters.
   She was a homemaker and a 1934 graduate of Seton High School, Baltimore. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys.
   Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Anthony Cutcher officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta.
   Calling is one hour before services Saturday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
   Contributions can be made to the Otterbein St. Marys Benevolent Fund.


Cletus Weitzel

Cletus B. Weitzel, 86, 404 E. Broadway St., Fort Recovery, died at 6:05 p.m. March 21, 2006, at Jay County Hospital, Portland, Ind.
   He was born June 19, 1919, in Sharpsburg, to John and Elizabeth Wilker Weitzel. On June 15, 1948, he married Mary Ann Rammel, who survives in St. Peter.
   Also surviving are three sons, Charles and Lavern (Jane), all of Fort Recovery, and Paul (Cindy), Portland; four daughters, Alice (Gary) Howard, Fort Loramie, Lucy (Leonard) Bruns, Chickasaw, Ruth (Fred) Jutte and Rita (Dave) Tobe, all of Fort Recovery; two sisters, Dorothy (Herbert) Timmerman, Coldwater, and Edna (Luke) Rose, Fort Recovery; a brother-in-law, Art Rindler, Coldwater; four sisters-in-law, Sally, Celina, Betty, Coldwater, Alice, Yorkshire, and Eva, Celina; 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
   Deceased are six brothers, Aloys, Arthur, Lawrence, Dick, Julius and Joe Weitzel; two sisters, Alvina Rindler and Lorena Boeckman; and a grandchild.
   He was retired from farming and carpentry. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II. He was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery.
   Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church the Rev. Kenneth Alt officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery. Graveside honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 345, Fort Recovery.
   Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery. Prayer service is 3:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
