Lavern Meyer Lavern H. Meyer, 90, 1506 Meadowview Drive, Celina, died at 11:25 a.m. May 18, 2006, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. He was born Jan. 15, 1916, in Minster, to Julius and Mary Meyer Meyer. On April 27, 1943, he married Helen L. Miller, who died Jan. 7, 2006. Survivors are a sister, Irene (Louie) Hartings, Minster. Deceased is a sister, Alberta Hemmelgarn. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a farmer for his entire life. He owned and operated the One Hour Martinizing Dry Cleaners, Greenville, and worked at Pax. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Richard Riedel officiating. Burial will follow in North Grove Cemetery with military honors. Rama Seas, 72, 793 Coventry Green, St. Marys, died May 18, 2006, Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, following a brief illness. She was born June 1, 1933, in Roseville, Mich., to Raymond and Lucille Hawkins Andrew. On June 27, 1953, she married Richard P. Seas, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Richard (Lorna), Celina; two daughters, Paula (Dan) Tilton, Clayton, and Teresa (Gary) Blevins, Xenia; a sister, Linda (Jim) Parrish, Beavercreek; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Deceased are a daughter Jennifer; and an infant brother. She retired from Beatrice Foods Co., New Bremen, where she was a purchasing agent. She was a 1951 graduate of Troy High School and a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, and its altar sodality. Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will follow at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery. Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
