Gary M. Van Den Bosch Gary Van Den Bosch, 55, 811 W. Butler St., Coldwater, died 7:35 a.m. Friday at the Cleveland Clinic of natural causes. He was born July 4, 1951 to Carl and Loudonna (Braun) Van Den Bosch, Celina, who both survive. On May 22, 1971, he married Ann Bruns, who also survives. Also surviving are two sons, Eric, Ft. Bragg, N.C. and Bob (Lauren), Troy; two daughters, Peggy (Aaron) Muhlenkamp, North Canton, and Dawn (Chad) Gabrich, Warsaw, Ind.; a sister, Deborah (Nick) Elking, Fort Recovery, and six grandchildren. He worked at Crown Equipment Co., and was a veteran of the Ohio National Guard. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council, Coldwater, the Mercer county Sportsman Club; the National Rifle Association and the Coldwater American Legion Post 470. Funeral mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Rev. Daniel Schmitmeyer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Robert W. Bud Niemeyer, 81, 06701 Road 66A, died 2:40 a.m. Friday at Valley Nursing Home, St.Marys. He was born Oct. 9, 1924 to Frank Sr. and Ruth (Brockman) Niemeyer, New Bremen. On Feb. 8, 1949, he married Irene E. Aslage, who died Dec. 2, 1993. Survivors are three daughters, Pam (Henry) Steinmetz, Greenville, Janet (Buff) Fritz, Ocala, Fla., and Elaine (Todd) Meineke, Villa Hills, Ky.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Deceased are a brother, Frank Jr. and two sisters, LaVerne Fark and Jean Dock. He owned and operated Nupco Plastic Tubing, New Bremen and owned the patent for a farm field tile ditching machine since 1953. He served in the U.S. Army in the last Army Equestrian unit during WWII. He was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer, New Bremen, and the former Men's Holy Name Society of the Church. He was a member of the American Legion Post 241, New Bremen, and the former New Bremen's Lions Club. He was an honorary retired member of the New Bremen/German Township Fire Department. He was a member of the U.S. 124 Horse Calvary Association. Funeral mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Holy Redeemer, New Bremen, with the Rev. Thomas Mannebach officiating. Burial will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen, with American Legion Post 241 conducting military rites. Former Rockford and Van Wert resident, Josephine E. Samples, 90, died at 7:47 a.m. July 28, 2006, at Celina Manor Nursing Home. She was born May 28, 1916, in Mercer County, to Joseph and Clarice Mann Schaadt. Surviving are two grandchildren, Debra (Theodore) Torge and Chuck (Lynn) Samples, all of Celina; and two great-grandchildren. Deceased are a son, Larry; a brother, Edgar Schaadt; and a sister Dee Vogt. She was a beautician and a musician. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Rockford. Other memberships included, Van Wert Women of the Moose and Van Wert American Legion Auxiliary. Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Jerry Flueckiger officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford. Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Dorothy I. Worley, 73, of Celina, died July 27, 2006, at Colonial Nursing Center, Rockford. She was born Feb. 6, 1933, in Stearns, Ky., to John and Amanda Redderick Dawson. Surviving are a daughter, Karolyn (Dean) Longsworth, Celina; a brother, Edward Dawson, Pineknot, Ky.; five grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Deceased are a daughter, Deborah Worley Laudick; three brothers, Ray, Ransom and Gene Dawson; and two sisters, Angus Dawson and Phyllis Adams. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church, Celina. Services are 2 p.m. Monday at Cromes Funeral Home, Sidney, the Rev. Alva Daniels officiating.
