Gale Hertel Gale L. Hertel, 85, 902 Rosewood Drive, Celina, died at 11:20 a.m. Aug. 17, 2006, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
He was born March 1, 1921, in Van Wert, to Gaylord and Edith Mae Price Hertel. On Nov. 17, 1921, he married Audry Margaret Saam, who survives.
Also surviving are is a daughter Janice (Jerome) Hoelscher, Celina; two sons, Ronald (Jan), Celina and Larry (JeAnn), Indianapolis; and six grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Dale and Bernard.
He was a retired farmer and member of Mount Tabor Church of God.
Services are 10 a.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. James Keiser officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mary Irvin
Mary Evalena Irvin, 59, 412 E. Main St., St. Henry, died Aug. 18, 2006, at her residence of natural causes.
She was born Oct. 26, 1946, in Plain City, to Cody and Almie Keaton. On Oct. 28, 1982, she married Mike Irvin who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Victoria Salsbury, Unionville; three brothers, Clyde and Elvis Keaton, Plain City, and Rufus Keaton, Grove City; two sisters, Lisa (Harry) Wolf, Plain City, and Jewel Keaton, Grove City; a sister-in-law, Renee Keaton, Plain City; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A brother, Jake Keaton, is deceased.
She was a homemaker.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry, the Rev. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will follow at St. Henry Cemetery.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10:15 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Cecile Wurster
Cecile M. Wurster, 90, 7389 Bogart Road, Celina, died Aug. 18, 2006, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 23, 1915, in Mercer County, to Charles and Grace Downey Burt. She married Vaughn Wurster in 1936 and he died Nov. 8, 1986.
Surviving are a son, Charles (Mary Lou), of Celina; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Paul, and two sisters, Lenora and Barbara.
She retired as a bookkeeper at Marsh Supermarket.
Services are 2 p.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Paul Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Neptune Cemetery.
Calling is 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
