Louis Fischer Louis P. Fischer, 54, of Westerville, died Sept. 9, 2006, at Mt. Carmel Hospital East, Columbus, of natural causes. He was born April 19, 1952, in Dayton, to Charles and Agnes Clegg Fischer. His wife, Teresa, survives. Also surviving are a son, Christopher Haun, Westerville; a daughter, Jennifer, Celina; three brothers, Kenneth and James (Barb), all of Celina, and Robert, Fairborn; four sisters, Patricia (Marvin) Dilworth, Huber Heights, Carol (Virgil) Downing, Kettering, Mary Troilo, Fla., and Linda (Mike) Wallace, Celina; and a granddaughter. Deceased is a brother, Charles L. He was employed as an accounting technician for the U.S. government and was a 1970 graduate of Celina High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and former member of the American Legion Post 283, Pickerington. Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Moreland Funeral Home, Westerville, the Rev. Wayne Booth officiating. Visitation will be at St. John Lutheran Church, Celina, at 2 p.m. Thursday followed by burial at North Grove Cemetery, Celina. Donna M. Fontanini, 56, of 150 South Cedar St., Coldwater, died Sept. 11, 2006, at her sister Martha's home, Muncie, Ind. Death was due to natural causes. She was born Oct. 26, 1949, in Yorktown, Ind., to Lovett and Nancy Green Barnhouse. On Feb. 13, 1993, she married Richard E. Fontanini, who survives. Also surviving are three stepsons, Rick, Coldwater, Bob, St. Marys, and Sam, Celina; a stepdaughter, Stacey, Miamisburg; a brother, Richard (Rita) Barnhouse, Muncie, Ind.; and three sisters, Martha Hartley and Jill (Buddy) Bordeaux, all of Muncie, and Patty (Ralph) Brooks, Fort Wayne, Ind. Deceased are two brothers, Mike and Jack Barnhouse; a sister, Gay Barnhouse; and a brother-in-law, Jerry W. Hartley. She was a member of American Legion Post 210, Celina. Lela Mae Gordon, 87, of Duff, Tenn., died at 12;15 p.m. Sept. 10, 2006, at the St. Marys Living Center. She had been a resident since 1993. She was born Sept. 14, 1918, in Duff, Tenn., to Albert and Nannie Williams King. On Feb. 16, 1935, she married Robert Gordon, who died Dec. 20, 1972. Survivors are a son, Wade (Thelma) Gordon, St. Marys; a daughter, Shelby (Ralph) Pruitt, St. Marys; three brothers, Albert (Gladys) King and Doyle (Gail) King, all of LaFollette, Tenn., and Virgil (Shirley) King, Wilmington, N.C.; three sisters, Irene (Clell) Porter, Peoria, Ill., Kathryn (Bill) Napier, Dayton, and Doris (Everett) Jeffries, Rockwood, Tenn.; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Deceased are a son, Burl; a grandson; a brother, Edward King; and two sisters, Beulah Mazingo-White and Carolyn Davis. She retired as head cook from White Oak Elementary School, White Oak, Tenn. She was an active member of White Oak Missionary Baptist Church and Jellico Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at the church. Leo M. Levi, 73, 918 Sycamore St., Celina, died at 6:32 p.m. Sept. 8, 2006, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. He was born June 6, 1933, in Connersville, Ind., to Ernest and Violet Young Levi. On Sept. 6, 1958, he married Elnora Heindel, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Jeff (Theresa) and Dennis, all of Celina; a brother, Eldon (Shirley), Celina; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Deceased are four brothers, Ernest, Norman, Ferrell and Loren and four sisters, Elma Firestone, Naomi Block, Anna Belle Young and Doris Davis. He was a retired janitor, who worked at Mendon Schools and Huffy Bicycle Co., Celina. He was a member of New Life Apostolic Church, American Legion Post 210, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5713, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1473 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1291, all of Celina. Leona C. Prenger, 90, of Anna, died at 9 p.m. Sept. 10, 2006, at St. Marys Living Center. She was born April 15, 1916, in Egypt, to Bernard and Mary Meyer Liening. On Oct. 20, 1937, she married Leo J. Prenger, who died May 30, 1996. Survivors are a sister, Norma (William) Ryan, New Lebanon; and many nieces and nephews. Deceased are a brother and sister-in-law, Herbert (Marie) Liening; a sister and brother-in-law, Lorene (Adrian) Kinninger; and a nephew. She was a homemaker and member of Sacred Heart Church and its ladies sodality, McCartyville. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church the Rev. Patrick Welsh officiating. Alice M. Tobin, 78, of Montezuma, died September 11, 2006 at her residence. She was born April 1, 1928, in Montezuma, to Loren and Margaret Burd Cencebaugh. On December 5, 1946, she married John Tobin, who died May 30, 1996. Survivors are a son Mark (Chris), Montezuma; two daughters: Penny (Lowell) Kissinger, Bradford, and Diane (Bob Huffman) Whitehead, Montezuma; a sister, Pam Sites, Rockford; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Deceased is a brother, Bud Cencebaugh. She was the head cook at Franklin School for 29 years. She attended Montezuma United Methodist Church and was a member of its Women's Society of Christian Service. She also was a member of the Ya Ya Sisterhood in Montezuma. Graveside services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Mercer Memory Gardens with Rev. Bruce Crane, officiating.
