Phillip Ahlers Phillip D. Ahlers, 48, 204 W. Wiggs St., Fort Recovery, died at 10:55 p.m. Sept. 17, 2006, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. Death was due to natural causes. He was born Oct. 2, 1957, in Middletown, to Edward and Catherine Creekmur Ahlers. His father survives in Burkettsville. On March 28, 1981, he married Carolyn R. Wood, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Theresa Walters, Celina, and Laura, Fort Recovery; a brother, James (Brenda), Fort Recovery; a sister, Kim (Michael) Tracey, Celina; and a grandchild. Deceased is a son, Phillip C. He was employed at Wenning's Poultry and formerly at Wendel Poultry, both in Fort Recovery. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the 101st Airborne and the Ohio National Guard. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Fort Recovery. Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Dennis Kelley officiating. Burial of cremated remains will take place at a later date at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina. Dolores C. Leugers, 67, 1301 McFeely Petry Road, Fort Recovery, died at 2:35 p.m. Sept. 15, 2006, at her residence. She was born Aug. 12, 1939, in St. Anthony, to Urban and Cecilia Reichert Rauh. On June 24, 1961, she married Robert Leugers, who survives. Also surviving are five sons, Norman (Angie), St. Sebastian, Kevin (Amy), St. Henry, Dennis (Jill), Coldwater, David, St. Henry, and Ralph (Lisa), St. Anthony; six daughters, Susan (Tim) Moorman, Coldwater, Teresa, Miami, Fla., Barbara (Imari) Jackson, Fort Benning, Ga.; Bridget (Brad) Canter, Mayfield, Ky., Laura (Jeremy) Link, Cassella, and Michelle, Columbus; two brothers, John Rauh, St. Marys, and Mark (Deb) Rauh, St. Anthony; and 19 grandchildren. Deceased are a son, Duane; a brother, Carl Rauh; and a granddaughter. She was a 1957 graduate of Coldwater High School and was a 4-H advisor for 33 years with Jackson Friendship 4-H Club. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Sharpsburg, and its altar sodality. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Charles Mullen officiating. Faye E. Miller, 88, 3181 Mud Pike, Celina, died at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 17, 2006, at her residence. She was born March 9, 1918, in Mercer County, to Ezra and Bessie Brown Lacy. On March 5, 1955, she married Darrell E. Miller, who survives in Celina. Also surviving are two daughters, Sue and Anna, both of Celina; and two brothers, Carroll (Ruth) Lacy and Lowell (Jean) Lacy, all of Lima. She was formerly employed at the Good Old Days Magazine as a contributing editor, and also worked as a teller at Citizens National Bank, Celina. She graduated from Washington Township High School, and was a member of the St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina, where she assisted her husband at the church as custodian for several years. She also was a charter member of the Mercer County Genealogical Society . Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Robert Metheny officiating. Mary Judith Wolf, 67, 309 N. Second St., Coldwater, died at 5:35 p.m. Sept. 17, 2006, at The Gardens at Celina. Death was due to cancer. She was born July 26, 1939, in Dayton, to Marvin and Margaret Trick Manker. On Aug. 21, 1965, she married Larry Wolf, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Chris, Coldwater, and Matt (Melissa), Granger, Ind.; two brothers, Marvin Jr. (Jonal) Manker and Jack (Sandy) Manker, all of Kettering; a sister, Jill (Nick) Thomas, Salt Lake City, Utah; two grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren. She was co-owner of Back to Nature, Coldwater, secretary for the Coldwater Chamber of Commerce and a former teacher at Coldwater Exempted Village Schools and Celina City Schools. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and the State Retired Teachers Organization. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Ronald Wilker officiating.
