Cletus Beyke

Cletus J. Beyke, 81, 1515 Irmsher, Celina, died Sept. 24, 2006, at his residence.
   He was born July 23, 1925, in Sharpsburg, to Henry and Walburga Rohrer Beyke. On June 5, 1948, he married Wilma Bertke Beyke, who survives.
   Also surviving are a son, William (Mary), St. Henry; four daughters, Susan (Bob) Avery, Kendallville, Ind., Connie (Mike) Harvey, Englewood, Ann (Patrick) Hull, Celina, and Kathryn Bergman, Portland, Ind.; a brother, Henry (Patricia), Franklin, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.
   Deceased are four brothers, Jacob, Barney, Lee and Albert; and two sisters, Mildred Wendel and Mary Goubeaux.
   He worked over 45 years at the former Fullenkamp Distributing and Mercer Beverage, St. Henry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, serving as a corporal during World War II. He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Cranberry Prairie, and Maria Stein Adoration Guild. He was a past president of Knights of St. John, Maria Stein, past 7th district president and former member of the uniform group.
   Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church the Rev. Larry Wyen officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
   Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.

Mary Bobenmoyer

Mary E. Bobenmoyer, 87, of Celina, died at 6:15 p.m. Sept. 24, 2006, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
   Arrangements are pending at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina.


Anna Eilerman

Anna Marie Eilerman, 91, of Minster, died at 5:45 a.m. Sept. 24, 2006, at Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster.
   She was born July 21, 1915, in St. Patrick, to Henry and Anna Schmitmeyer Hoying. On June 9, 1937, she married Gregor H. Eilerman, who died Oct. 29, 1990.
   Survivors are three sons, John (Sandra) and Jerome (Margaret), all of Minster, and Joseph (Peg), New Bremen; three daughters, Janet (Robert) Hoying, Joan (Robert) Schnabel and Judith (Jon) Sacksteder, all of Minster; five brothers, Jerome Hoying, Greenville, Anthony (Mary) and Eugene (Patricia) Hoying, all of Sun City Center, Fla., Linus (Mary) Hoying, Fort Loramie, and Patrick (Patricia) Hoying, Minster; a sister, Regina Aselage, Sidney; a brother-in-law, Alfred Boerger, Minster; a sister-in-law, Nancy Hoying, Dayton; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
   Deceased are two brothers, Edwin and Henry Hoying; two sisters, Louise Boerger and Bernadette Gaier; two brothers-in-law, Clemens Aselage and Paul Gaier; and two sisters-in-law, Annabel and Mary Hoying.
   She was a homemaker and member of St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery and St. Monica Ladies Sodality, Minster.
   Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
   Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.

Donald Forsthoefel, of Ruby Lane, Coldwater, died the evening of Sept. 24, 2006, at his residence.

Vernon H. Heidt, 86, of New Knoxville, died at 5:07 p.m. Sept. 24, 2006, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
   Arrangements are pending at Vornholt-Miller Funeral Home, New Knoxville.


Donald Hubbard

Donald H. Hubbard, 71, of Lima, died at 8:04 a.m. Sept. 24, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
   He was born Oct. 27, 1934, in Galion, to Garner and Vada Miller Hubbard-Norris. On May 29, 1970, he married Shelba Snider, who survives.
   Also surviving are four sons, Donald (Laurie) and Robert Badgley, Kevin Hubbard and Keith Peggs; two daughters, Debra (Greg) Joseph and Diana McVicker; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Some family members are residents of Mercer County.
   Deceased are two sons, Johnny David Hubbard and Edwin Peggs; three brothers, Bill and James Hubbard and Charles Norris; and a son-in-law, Don McVicker.
   He retired after 33 years at Ford Motor Company. He was a member of United Auto Workers Post 1219 and a past member of American Legion Post 96, Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 370 and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 199, all of Lima.
   Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Siferd Funeral Home, Lima, the Rev. Bill Kronk officiating. Burial with military graveside rites is at Memorial Park Cemetery.
   Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.


Jean Phillippe

Jean Phillippe, 74, 11421 North Drive, St. Marys, died Sept. 24, 2006, at her residence, following an extended illness.
   She was born Feb. 10, 1932, in Bybee Tenn., to Elmer and Eunella White Fox. On Nov. 3, 1947, she married Billy Phillippe, who died Dec. 10, 2000.
   Survivors are two sons, Billy (Diana) and John (Donna), all of St. Marys; a daughter, Sharon (Jim) Gilbert, St. Marys; a brother, Walter Fox, St. Marys; two sisters, Geraldine Petersime and Carol Fox, both of Venice, Fla.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
   Deceased are four brothers and a sister.
   Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
   Calling is after 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
