Bert Allman Bert C. Allman, 85, of St. Marys, died at 9:55 a.m. Oct. 5, 2006, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, following a brief battle with cancer. He was born April 19, 1921, in Akron, to Harley and Hazel Steffe Allman. His wife of 26 years, Louise Wells, survives. Also surviving are a son, Albert Brian, St. Katherine, Canada; a stepson, Garry (Jean) Mayhugh, Kansas City, Kan.; two stepdaughters, Sharon (Richard) Trenkamp, Fort Jennings, and Lynn (Harold) Walker, Lakeview; a brother, Ray Alf (Alice), Toronto, Canada; two grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and six stepgreat-grandchildren. Deceased are three brothers, Wayne, Bobby and Don. He retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, St. Marys, after 36 years. He was a veteran of the Canadian Army, serving during World War II, and was a 60-year member of the Free and Accepted Masons Mercer Lodge 121 and a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and Southmoor Shores Homeowners Association. Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Robert Ellis officiating. Burial is at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima. Calling is 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Thomas Mackenbach Sr., 62, 12012 Evans Road, Mendon, died Oct. 5, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, from injuries sustained in a traffic accident earlier in the day in St. Marys. Funeral arrangements are pending with Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys. Wilma Moeller
Wilma A. Moeller, 83, 10901 Tri-Township Road, St. Marys, died Oct. 4, 2006, at her home. She was born March 7, 1923, in Auglaize County, to Carl and Emma Thielk Knatz. On Oct. 13, 1945, she married Richard E. Moeller, who died Aug. 12, 1986. Surviving are a son, John (Debra), St. Marys; two brothers, Harold (Jean) Knatz and Robert Knatz, all of St. Marys; a sister, Delores (Earl) Stienecker, St. Marys; and a sister-in-law, Carol Knatz, also of St. Marys. Deceased are a brother, Charles Knatz, and a sister-in-law, Joan Knatz. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, New Bremen, and a 1940 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. John Tostrick officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys. Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Contributions can be made to the church or the Cancer Association of Auglaize County. |
