John Caywood John W. Caywood, 59, 112 Gas St., St. Marys, died Nov. 1, 2006, at his home. Death was due to an apparent suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning. He was born Jan. 23, 1947, in Celina, to Robert E. and Nettie L. West Caywood. A stepmother, Florence Caywood, survives in Celina. On Dec. 1, 1982, he married Dorothy Sander, who died in July 1995. Survivors are two sons, Robert, St. Marys, and Matthew, New Bremen; three stepsons, David (Penny) Young and Tom (Amanda) Young, all of St. Marys, and Timothy (Mitzie) Young, Montezuma; a stepdaughter, Kathy (Bernie) Roessner, New Knoxville; a brother, Gene (Wilma), St. Marys; three sisters, Marsha (Don) Buchanan, Lima, Carol (Jim) Lietz, Dizon, Tenn., and Evelyn (Kenneth) Whetstone, Celina; and 14 grandchildren. Deceased is a sister, Sheila Stedke. He was a tool and die maker at Crown Equipment Corp., New Bremen, where he worked for 34 years. A 1965 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School and the Allied School of Technology, Chicago, Ill., he was a member of First Church of the Nazarene St. Marys. Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Bill Drummond officiating. Burial is at Resthaven Memory Gardens, St. Marys. Carl R. Friedly, 85, 7395 Hellwarth Road, Celina, died at 4 p.m. Nov. 2, 2006, at his residence, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was born April 19, 1921, in Coldwater, Mich., to Adolph and Eva Mentzer Friedly. He married Mary E. Allen, who is deceased. Survivors are a daughter, Nancy Ann (Dennis) Dunlap, Celina; a sister, Charlette (Kennith) Gannon, Coldwater, Mich.; four grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He retired from the former New Idea plant in Coldwater, and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Celina Baptist Temple. Dolores Fullenkamp, 91, of Fort Recovery, died at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 2, 2006, at the home of her nephew, John and Marlene Bihn Jr., Fort Recovery. She was born April 9, 1915, in Fort Recovery, to Jacob and Gertrude King Fullenkamp. Survivors are a twin brother, Verner, Coldwater; a sister, Cleopha (John) Bihn Sr., Fort Recovery; and three sisters-in-law, Betty, Fort Recovery, and Jeanette and Rosaline, both of St. Henry. Deceased are six brothers, Modana, Vincent, Ferd, Dominic, Omar and Donald and a sister, Belinda Brunswick. She was employed by the former Jay Garment, Portland, Ind. She was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella Circle 810, both Fort Recovery. Funeral Mass is 11:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Celina native Lois Ann Grilliot, 65, of York Street, Yorkshire, died at 12:24 p.m. Nov. 3, 2006, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. Death was due to cancer. She was born June 3, 1941, in Celina, to Leo A. and Armella Everman Bruggeman. On May 12, 1962, she married Elmer B. Grilliot, who survives. Other survivors are three sons, Kevin, Versailles, Keith (Diane), Junction City, Kan., and Gary, Yorkshire; four daughters, Denise (Randy) Barhorst, Newport, Emmy, New Bremen, Jenny (Eugene) Nash, Piqua, and Stephanie Tedore, Greenville; two brothers, Marvin (Shirley) Bruggeman, Plant City, Fla., and Ronald (Linda) Bruggeman, St. Henry; four sisters, Sharon Voskuhl, Maria Stein, Geraldine (Fred) Bertke, New Knoxville, Bernice (Ron) Dwenger, Celina, and Beverly (Gary) Clune, St. Henry; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Deceased is a brother-in-law, Charles Voskuhl. She was a housekeeper at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster, and a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood. Faye E. Heitkamp, 35, of Ansonia, died Nov. 3 at her home due to cancer. She was born Aug. 7, 1971, in Greenville, to Gary L. and Sandra K. Warner Bowman, who survive in Greenville. On Jan. 11, 1997, she married Chris A. Heitkamp, who also survives. Other survivor are two sons, Joshua Lee and Noah Christopher at home; two brothers, Wayne (Loretta) Bowman and Craig Bowman, all of Greenville; a sister, Carolyn Bowman, Greenville; a stepbrother, Dave Griffin, Hollansburg; and a stepgrandmother, Norma J. Bowman, Greenville. She worked at Neff Lettering, Greenville, and for her parents' business, Bowman's Conces-sions. Charles D. Long, 90, formerly of Portland, Ind., of Nov. 1, 2006, at Americare Living Center, Portland, following an extended illness. He was born Sept. 21, 1916, in Tullahoma, Tenn., to William and Vernia A. Poe Long. On Aug. 11, 1937, he married Vivian Bryan, who died Feb. 9, 1989. Survivors are a son, Harry, Fort Recovery; a brother, Bill, Portland; a sister, Janiece Matchett, Muncie, Ind.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He worked at Sheller Globe Corp., formerly in Portland; was a farmer in Madison Township; and before retirement worked at Bill's Bar, Portland. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II, and was a 1934 graduate of Madison Township High School. He was a member of the Salamonia United Church of Christ and American Legion Post 211, Portland. Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at the Portland Chapel of Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home, the Rev. Wanda J. Winner, 51, 709 Crestwood Drive, Minster, died at 10:19 p.m. Nov. 2, 2006, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. Death was due to natural causes. She was born Nov. 27, 1954, at Castle Air Force Base in California, to Orville and Doris Ritter Winner, who both survive in Minster. Survivors are three sisters, Kim (Chuck) Sever, Lisa (Dan) Elson and Julie (Heath) Hegemann, all of Minster.
