Larry Giere Larry A. Giere, 52, 918 Chestnut St., Celina, died at 2:27 a.m. May 14, 2005, at his home. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born Sept. 30, 1952, in Coldwater, to Edmund L. and Ida Jeanette Raterman Giere. His parents survive in Maria Stein. On April 15, 1972, he married Vicki Bruns who also survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Corey and Brad (Celest), and a daughter, Angel Freeman, all of Celina; four brothers, Ed (Debra) of Montezuma, Joe (Marg) of Maria Stein, Tom (Angie) of Vandalia and Gary (Connie) of Versailles; a sister, Jennie (Steven) Wuebker, Maria Stein; his mother-in-law, Viola Bruns, St. Marys; and four grandchildren.
A brother, Steven, and a sister, Sheri, are deceased.
He had worked at Huffy Manufacturing, Rider Trucking and Mid West Logistics. A 1970 graduate of Marion Local High School, he was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Loyal Order of Moose, both of Celina.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Brenberger officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
