Dorothy Homan Benoit Dorothy Homan Benoit, 75, formerly of Celina, died Sept. 26, 2005, during hurricane evacuation in Louisiana. She was born May 16, 1930, in Celina, to Frank and Philomena Kessens Homan. Surviving are two brothers, Leonard Homan, Coldwater, and Herb Homan, Celina; and three sisters, Agnes Homan and Clara Hess, both of Coldwater, and Maryann Gerlach, Celina. Deceased are three brothers, Al Homan, Edward Homan and Werner Homan, and two sisters, Emma Retzer and Catherine Bergman. Burial was today at Vincent Funeral Home, Kaplan, La. Harry Dunham
Harry "Bumpy" Dunham, 69, of Paisley, Fla., and St. Marys, died Oct. 3, 2005, in French Lick, Ind., following a sudden illness. He was born Feb. 2, 1936, in Taunton, Mass., to Harry and Lillian Brazil Dunham Sr. He married Carolyn Faye Fairbanks, who survives. Also surviving are five children, seven stepchildren, three brothers, two sisters, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a retired truck driver for Winn-Dixie Food Stores. He was a member of the Nazarene faith. Services are 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Revs. Larry and LeBron Fairbanks officiating. Burial will be in Florida. Calling is 6-9 p.m. Friday and 1:30 p.m. Saturday until services Saturday at the funeral home. Contributions can be made to the Nazarene Northwest Ohio District Center at Grand Lake St. Marys. Rose Agnes "Tootie" Ziegenfelder, 88, formerly of St. Marys, died Oct. 3, 2005, in Homestead, Fla. She was born July 18, 1917, in St. Marys, to Frank and Minnie Wieser Dieringer. On Oct. 25, 1947, she married Paul Ziegenfelder, who died July 6, 1997. Surviving are a son, David of Leisure City, Fla.; three brothers, Larry (Joan) Dieringer and Jim (Beverly) Dieringer, all of St. Marys, and Bob Dieringer, Lima; a sister, Sr. Patricia Dieringer, Dayton; and a grandson. Deceased are a son, Fred, and a brother, Bill Dieringer. She was retired as assistant branch manage rof the former Home Bank in St. Marys. She graduated from Memorial High School and was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and its altar sodality, all of St. Marys Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Anthony E. Cutcher officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys. Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys. |
