Martha Clune

Martha Clune, 94, died today, March 20, 2006, at The Gardens, St. Henry.
   Arrangements are pending at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.


Benjamin Enyart

Benjamin I. Enyart, 26, 610 West Water St., Portland, died March 17, 2006, in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind. from an apparent suicide.
   He was born Feb. 1, 1980, in Bluffton, Ind, to Donald and Anita Menchhofer Enyart, who survive in Portland.
   Also surviving are a brother, Sean, Red key, Ind.; fiancee, Gwen Riddle, Portland; grandparents, Lowell and Alberta Menchhofer, Portland; and grandmother and stepgrandfather, Eva Lou and Jerry Drieling, Mendon.
   He worked in the electronics department at Wal-Mart, Portland, Ind. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, A 1998 Jay County High School graduate and attended Ball State University.
   Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland, the Rev. Mark Strietelmeier officiating. Burial will follow in Green Park Cemetery.
   Calling is 4-8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
   Contributions can be made to the church.


Monica Gross

Monica W. Gross, 90, Coldwater, died March 18, 2006, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
   She was born Aug. 10, 1915, in St. Peter, to Henry and Mary Buschor Kaup. On June 16, 1934, she married Gregory Gross.
   Survivors are five sons, Lavern (Ann), Celina, John (Carol), Troy, Michael (Betty), Tipp City, Charles (Marian), Charlottsville, Va., and Mark (Deborah), Coldwater; three daughters, Betty (Jerry) Tonner, Vero Beach, Fla., Pat (Melvin) Schlater, Vandalia, and Marlene (David) Fink, Colleyville; a brother, Romi (Mary Margaret) Kaup, Coldwater; two sisters, Mary Kaup, Celina, and Rita (Robert) Borger, St. Henry; two sisters-in-law, Mary Kaup, Celina, and Betty Kaup, Coldwater; 29 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
   Deceased are a son, Thomas Gross; two brothers, Urban and Sylvester Kaup; and two grandchildren.
   She was previously employed in the dietary department at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. She attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church and was a member of St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality and St. Cecelia Knights of St. John, both in Coldwater.
   Funeral mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Marvin Borger officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
   Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.

Martha Meyers

Martha "Billie" Meyers, 88, former resident of Orchard Drive, St. Marys, died at 5:20 p.m. March 19, 2006, at the Valley Nursing Home, St. Marys.
   Arrangements are pending at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.


Bessie Sanders

Bessie Sanders, 75, died this morning, March 20, 2006, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
   Arrangements are pending at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina.


Ray Secaur

Ray L. Secaur Jr., 77, of Bradenton, Fla., died March 16, 2006, at Englewood Community Hospital Emergency Room, Englewood, Fla.
   He was born Nov. 4, 1928, in Rockford, to Minnie and Ray L. Secaur Sr
   His wife, Betty, survives along two sons, Stephen (Marcia), Monroe, and Patrick (Laurie), Fort Thomas, Ky., and five grandchildren.
   He was an Insurance Adjuster with Motorist's Mutual and later with State Auto. He was a master mason of Free & Accepted Masons Shanes Lodge, Rockford. He was a member of the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks Lodge 1511, River Isles Golf Club and a former Scoutmaster.
   Burial will be at a later date in Rockford.
   Arrangements are pending with Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Manataee Avenue Chapel.


Doris Stover

Doris Ann Stover, 70, Rockford, died at 9:25 pm. March 18, 2006, at her home, following a brief illness.
   She was born Jan. 24, 1936, in Mercer County, to William and Hilda Frahm Becher. On Aug. 13, 1952, she married Robert W. Stover, who survives.
   Also surviving are three sons, Brian (Brenda), Rod (Kelly) and R. Thomas (Penny), all of Rockford; two daughters, Cindy (Keith) Canary and Julia (Todd) Henkle, all of Rockford.
   Deceased are two infant sons, Dennis Wayne and Ted Allen Stover.
   She was a homemaker and member of the St. John Lutheran Hopewell Church, Celina. She was president of Women of Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (WELCA) and past-treasure of the Northwest Synod of WELCA, member of Democratic Central Committee of Mercer County, the Dublin Township Board of Elections and Shanes Crossing Historical Society of Rockford, a volunteer and past chair for the United Way for Mercer County.
   Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Debra Domeier officiating. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
   Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
   Contributions can be made to the church or to the donor's choice.
