Sonia Jacobs

Sonia M. Jacobs, 66, 4935 Fleetfoot Road, Celina, died at 5:10 a.m. June 1, 2006, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.
   She was born April 10, 1940, in Greenville to Harry and Jessie Flore Clark. On Aug. 3, 1957, she married James Jacobs, who survives at home.
   Surviving are two sons, James A. (Sue) Jr., Coldwater, and Alan (Ruth), Celina; four daughters, Deb (Don) Gross, Coldwater, and Teresa (Jeff) Griswold, Tammy (Carl) Truesdale and Mary (Darrel) Conkel, all of Celina; three brothers, David (Janet) Clarke, Greenville, Elmer (Rhonda) Clark, South Carolina, and Clarence Partin, Union City; two sisters, Vickey Holderman and Marlene Ison, all of Greenville; a mother-in-law, Ruth Jacobs, Celina; a son-in-law, Bryon Sparks, Celina; 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
   Deceased are a daughter Elaine Sparks; three brothers, Mark, Harry Jr. and Ronnie Clark; two sisters, Patty Yount and Barbara Partin; brothers-in-law, Bob Yount and Bill Ison; and sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Mary Clark.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Jim Keiser officiating. Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens Cemetery, Celina.
   Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.


Eugene Reineke

Eugene J. Reineke, 78, St. Marys, died 11:34 a.m, June 1, 2006 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
   He was born July 29, 1927, in St. Marys to Joseph and Margaret (Heckler) Reineke. He was married to Virginia M. (Kohlhorst) Wierwille and Mary Santana, who both survive.
   Also surviving are a son, Terry (Tracey) Reineke, Celina; three daughters, Christine (Brian) Teshka, Holland, Mich.,Carla (Daniel) Mallory, Celina, and Leslie (Rex) Triplett, St. Marys; five brothers, Joseph (Mary), St. Marys, Robert (Lahoma), St. Marys, James (Beverly), New Knoxville, Charlie, Florida, and Don (Margie), Indiana; four sisters, Shirley (Norm) Eshleman, St. Marys, Janet, St. Marys, Mary (Lloyd) Myers, Florida, and Barb (James) Rohr, Chickasaw; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
   He was employed by Parker Hannifin in St. Marys as a hydraulic specialist. He also was a salesman at Rino's Auto Sales, Celina, for 21 years. He served in the Army during WWII and was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Spencerville, American Legion, Celina, Eagles, St. Marys, and Moose Lodge, Celina.
   Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Richard Riedel officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys.
   Calling is 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Howard Winget

Celina native Howard L. "Bud" Winget, 63, died at 3:15 p.m. May 29, 2006, at The Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, from injuries received in a May 28 traffic accident in Shawnee Township.
   He was born May 5, 1943, in Celina, to Howard L. Sr. and Garnet Dooley Winget. On Jan. 6, 1968, he married Diana K. Hoenie, who survives in Elida.
   Also surviving are two daughters, Julia S. (Gregory) Soules, Waynesfield, and Jennifer N. (Dustin) Bryan, Columbus Grove; an adopted son, James (Barbara) Wiechart, Danville, Ky.; two brothers, William (Patty) and Jerry, all of Celina; three sisters, Anna Hammond, of Texas, Betty Walker, of Florida, and Joretta (Joe) Gray, Celina; and six grandchildren.
   Deceased are a brother, Bob; a sister, Chris Louth, and an infant sister, Wanda.
   He retired as a forklift operator after 34 years of service at the Ford Motor Company, Ohio Engine Plant, in Lima. He worked at the former Mersman Furniture Factory, Celina, and was a former Sohio gasoline station owner. He was a member of the Celina Coast Guard Auxiliary and Woodlawn Baptist Church, Lima. He was instrumental in the church sanctuary remodeling project.
   Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, the Rev. John Heyward officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
   Calling is 2-8 p.m. today and after noon Saturday at the funeral home.
