Diane Frantz

Diane S. Frantz, 49, 1428 James Drive, Celina, died at 10:30 p.m. June 12, 2006, at her residence. Death was due to cancer.
   She was born July 31, 1956, in Celina, to James and Wilma Wellman Pfeffenberger, who survive in Celina. On April 17, 1999, she married Daniel J. Frantz, who survives.
   Also surviving are two sons, Jacob Daniel and Joshua Maxim; and a daughter, Brianna Daria, all at home; two brothers, Don (Kelly) Pfeffenberger, Celina, and Robert (Zeny) Pfeffenberger, Copperas Cove, Texas; three sisters, Jane (Greg) Homan and Linda (Stephen) Seibel, all of Celina; and Amy (Mark) McGraw, Englewood; and a father-in-law, Richard, Versailles.
   Deceased is mother-in-law, Helen.
   She was a specialist computer operator for 26 years at Celina Insurance Group. She was a 1974 graduate of Celina High School and attended Wright State University. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina.
   Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday at the church the Revs. Mark Hoying and Richard Riedel officiating. Burial is in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
   Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:30 a.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.

Elizabeth Smith

Elizabeth C. Smith, 84, 53 S. Frankfort St., Minster, died at 3:55 a.m. June 13, 2006, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. She was in the hospital for three weeks.
   She was born Oct. 7, 1921, in Minster, to Bernard and Elizabeth Heckman Leugers. On June 29, 1946, she married Eugene V. Smith, who died Nov. 28, 1987.
   Survivors include, a son, Daniel Smith, Minster; three daughters, Deborah Smith, Minster, Mary (Tim) Weaver, Ormond Beach, Fla., and June Smith, Cincinnati; a sister, Rosetta Meyer, Minster; three sisters-in-law, Mary Leugers and Loretta Rempe, both of Minster, and Margaret Leugers, St. Marys; and three grandchildren.
   Deceased are five brothers, Clem, Joseph, Edward, Alfred and Herbert Leugers.
   She was homemaker and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster.
   Funeral mass is 10 a.m. Friday at the church the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
   Calling is 3-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:30 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
   Contributions can be made to Cincinnati Children's Hospital RNIC Unit.
