Special Weather Statement issued January 30 at 4:35AM EST by NWS Wilmington (details ...)
...SOME SLICK SPOTS AND FOG THIS MORNING... A wintry mix of light snow, freezing rain, and rain will overspread the region this morning. Any accumulation will be light but a few slick spots may develop, especially on bridges and overpasses. Also, widespread fog will be observed across the area this morning, lowering visibilities to less than one mile at times. Patchy dense fog with visibilities of one quarter mile or less will also be possible through mid morning. Motorists should use extra caution through the morning commute. Slow down, use low beam headlights, and allow additional time to reach your destination due to the reduced visibilities and possible slick spots.

A dilapidated Sycamore Street home in Celina is torn down Thursday. The city paid for the project with grant funds to help clean up that neighborhood.
