Donald Glass
St. Marys native Donald W. Glass, 70, of Fort Thomas, Ky., died at 1:10 a.m. July 1, 2006, at the Hospice of Cincinnati East, Cincinnati.
He was born Dec. 31, 1935, in St. Marys, to Walter and Hilda Dohse Glass.
Survivors are a brother, John (Verna), Celina; and a sister-in-law, Vivian, St. Marys.
Deceased is a brother, Alvin.
He was a retired social studies teacher serving 27 years at Greenhills Schools and three years at St. Marys Memorial Schools. He was a social work supervisor for the Area Development District of Northern Kentucky, a state board member for the Ohio Education Association and a member of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church, St. Marys, the Rev. William Maki officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Contributions can be made to the church or Hospice of Cincinnati.
A second memorial service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Knox Presbyterian Church, Cincinnati.
