* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Eugene Pleiman
Eugene B. "Wally" Pleiman, 67, of Versailles, died at 9:30 a.m. July 20, 2006, at his residence.
He was born July 26, 1938, in Yorkshire, to Henry B. and Marie Heckman Pleiman. His stepmother, Matilda Holscher Pleiman also is deceased. On Sept. 9, 1967, he married Irene L. Wappelhorst, who died Jan. 7, 1986. On June 17, 1995, he married Vera Paulus, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Lisa (John) Quinter and Theresa (Ed) Minnich, both of Versailles; a stepson, Kris (Crystal) Clingenpeel, Grand Forks, N.D.; a stepdaughter, Teri (Doug) Etter, Versailles; six brothers, Carl (Rita), Cyril (Lisa), Larry (Linda), Neal (Mary Jean), Ralph (Ruth) and Victor (Peg); five sisters, Joan (Joe) Maier, Monica (Ron) Manger, Mary Lou Overton, Lucy (Tony) Budde, and Thelma (Joe) Green; a granddaughter and four stepgrandchildren.
He retired from employment with the village of Versailles and 23 years on the Versailles Fire Department. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2347 and American Legion Post 435, all of Versailles; and AMVETS Post 66, Covington.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. David Vincent officiating. Burial is at St. Valbert Cemetery, Versailles. A graveside service will be conducted by the Versailles Veteran Honor Guard.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles.
