Scattered snow showers occurring across the area will slowly diminish through the evening. These snow showers will continue to cause brief reductions in visibility. In addition, as temperatures fall, the snow showers could produce a light coating of snow on roadways. This will result in the potential for some slick spots to develop. Motorists should be prepared for changing conditions this evening and exercise extra caution.

Mary May-Bergman
Mary C. May-Bergman, 91, 400 W. Walnut St., Coldwater, died at 11:45 a.m. July 31, 2006, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
She was born Feb. 19, 1915, in Coldwater, to Aloysius and Eleanore Wenning Buschur. She is preceded in death by three husbands, Charles R. May, Theodore Homan and Clarence Bergman.
Survivors are six sons, Donald (Dolores) May, Coldwater, Alvin (Shirley) May, St. Henry, Kenneth (Karen) May, Fort Wayne, Ind., William (Beth) May, St. Marys, and Robert (Nancy) and Raymond (Donna) May, all of Celina; a daughter, Martha (Mike) Krieg, Coldwater; a brother, Eugene (Caroline) Buschur, Coldwater; a sister, Alma Huwer, Coldwater; a brother-in-law, John Gast, Fort Myers, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Hein, Montezuma; four stepsons, Dallas (Mary Lou) Homan, Coldwater, Donald (Rosemary) Homan, Burkettsville, Gerald (Geraldine) Bergman, Grand Rapids, Mich., and Bob (Ann) Bergman, Summerfield, Fla.; four stepdaughters, Jeanette (Herman) Osterholt, Fort Wayne, Ind., Barb (Tom) Bricher, Coldwater, and Linda (Richard) Dull and Kathy (Richard) Fennig, all of Beavercreek; a stepdaughter-in-law, Rosalee Homan, St. Henry; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; 33 stepgrandchildren; 68 stepgreat-grandchildren; and seven stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Virginia; a stepson, Harold Homan; two brothers, Arthur and Dan; two sisters, Irene Gaerke and Marjorie Gast; a daughter-in-law, Jeannie; a grandchild; three stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a stepgreat-great-grandchild.
She was a homemaker and member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, its ladies rosary altar sodality, Catholic Order of Foresters and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3025 Auxiliary, all of Coldwater.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Daniel Schmitmeyer officiating. Burial is at St. Anthony Cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
