Virgil Stienecker of St. Marys toured the 17th annual St. Marys Summer Artfest on Sunday at the Community Public Library. Various awards were given to the artists including Stienecker's wife, Marjorie, for her watercolor "Tree Peonie" Eighty-eight art pieces were entered in this year's event. (A list of winners was published in the Aug. 3 issue of The Daily Standard.)
