Ruth Sickles
Ruth Joan Sickles, 72, of Celina, died Aug. 5, 2006, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Living Community.
She was born Oct. 16, 1933, in Celina, to Gerald E. "Tony" and Ruth Irene Young Hildbold. On Dec. 14, 1961, she married Lowell E. Sickles, who died Aug. 8, 1988.
Surviving are two step-daughters, Vicki Boatright and Lisa Sneddon, both of Celina; a brother, Dennis (Jane) Houser, Clayton; and a sister, Pat Nill, Glendale, Ariz.
Deceased is a brother, Don Houser.
She worked at Reynolds & Reynolds, Celina. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 210 Auxiliary, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1473, and Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge 1291, all of Celina. She was a 1951 graduate of Celina High School.
Graveside services are 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery, the Rev. Jeff Smalley officiating.
There is no calling.
Contributions can be made to the church.
Arrangements are by W. H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina.
