Kyle Scherer of Sidney places a head scarf on his 2-year-old son, Jadien, as the family sits around the campfire at the mountain men encampment area during the 2006 Lake Loramie Fall Harvest Festival on Saturday. The family was one of several that dressed the part and gave demonstrations of the early life of settlers as part of the activities this past weekend at the state campground.
