* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

William Smith
William A. Smith, 85, of Hecht's Landing, Celina, died Nov. 13, 2006, at his residence.
He was born May 19, 1921, in Silverhill, W.Va., to Earl and Irene Kisner Smith. On Sept. 6, 1941, he married Lucille Mary Mucci, who died Dec. 27, 1993.
Survivors are a son, William E. (Charlene), Virginia Beach, Va.; two daughters, Kelly (Frank) Moore, Newton Falls, and Edith (William) C. Klosterman, South Bend, Ind.; a half brother, Jim Moore, Paw Paw, Mich.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers and two sisters.
He retired after 32 years at B.F. Goodrich, Troy, and after 10 years as an instructor of heating, air conditioning, hydraulics and boilers at Miami County JVS, Piqua. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in World War II and the Korean War and a former member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy.
He also was a member of the Mercer County Sportsmen's Association, the American Motorcyclists Association, the National Rifle Association of America and Amateur Radio Operators. He was a two-term former commander and member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5436, Troy, a member of AmVets Post 88, Troy, and American Legion Post 487, West Milton.
Services are 3 p.m. Thursday at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, the Rev. James Duell officiating. Burial is at Forest Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Graveside services are by the Veterans Memorial Honor Guard of Troy.
Calling is after 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
