Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Anna DeLong
Anna Pauline DeLong, 82, of St. Marys, died Nov. 29, 2006, at Otterbein Retirement Living Community, after a battle of two and a half years with ovarian cancer.
She was born Dec. 7, 1923, in Bethesda, to Walter and Verba Wilson Lucas. Her husband of 40 years, Ralph E. DeLong, died in 1983.
Survivors are a daughter, Diane (Robert) Fultz, Celina; a daughter-in-law, Trudie Heldenburgh, Venice, Fla.; a brother, Robert Lucas, Inverness, Fla.; a sister, Marie Robertson, Canton; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Jerald.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Meyer Community Room Chapel, Otterbein St. Marys, the Chaplain Carol Sainey officiating. Burial is at Friends Cemetery, Quaker City.
Contributions can be made to Otterbein St. Marys or State of the Heart Home Health and Hospice, Coldwater.
Arrangements are by Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
