* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.

A heavily damaged 1995 Ford Escort awaits a tow truck following an accident at 3:42 p.m. Thursday in the 7000 block of U.S. 127, north of Celina. Driver Adam M. Stith, 16, 1400 W. Market St., Apt. 55, Celina, lost control of the northbound vehicle, which traveled left of center, entered the ditch and rolled several times. Stith and passenger Christopher M. McNew, 17, 816 N. Walnut St., Celina, were taken by ambulance to Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys. Stith remains in good condition at the St. Marys hospital, while McNew, who was ejected from the vehicle, was treated then released. The Mercer County Sheriff's Office cited Stith for failure to maintain reasonable control.
