Patricia Schwieterman
Patricia "Pat" M. Berning Schwieterman, 70, of Piqua, died Dec. 7, 2006, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.
She was born May 28, 1936, to Phillip and Martha Hoelscher Berning. On Oct. 6, 1954, she married Johe L. Schwieterman, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Sandra, of Piqua, Sheila, of Dayton, and Susan (Darrell) Koch, Blanchester; four brothers, Leo (Ellie) Berning, Maria Stein, James (Carol) Berning, Mesa, Ariz., Richard (Mary) Berning, Newport, and Norbert (Karen) Berning, Kettlersville; a sister, Betty (Ray) Schulze, Sidney; and two grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother and a sister.
She worked over 40 years as a secretary at her husband's insurance office. She graduated from Holy Angels High School, Sidney, and was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Piqua. She was head usher, worked bingo and cleaned the parish house for many years.
Funeral Mass was 11 a.m. today at St. Bonifas Catholic Church, Piqua, the Revs. Angelo Caserta and Martin Fox officiated. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua.
Calling was Sunday at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua.
