Dorothy Luthman
Dorothy M. Luthman, 93, 393 E. Fourth St., Minster, died at 4:58 p.m. Dec. 15, 2006, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster, where she was a resident for one year.
She was born Jan. 2, 1913, in Minster, to Charles and Bernadine Wacker Bensman. on June 20, 1936, she married William H. Luthman, who died May 1, 1999.
Survivors are four sons, Don (Jan) and William W. (Rose), all of Minster, Earl, Bellefontaine, and John (Judith), St. Marys; two daughters, Diane (Ralph) Penno, Punta Gorda, Fla., and Judy (Jim) Olliges, Allyn, Wash.; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Walter and Andrew Bensman; and a sister, Loretta Wyen.
She worked at the Minster Post Office, and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, American Legion Post 387 Auxiliary, and the former St. Monica's Ladies Sodality, all of Minster.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
