The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 900 AM EDT.
* At 606 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Doris Murphy
Doris "Maxine" Murphy, 81, 522 Schunck Road, Celina, died at 6:15 a.m. Dec. 18, 2006, at her home.
She was born Feb. 24, 1925, in Randolph County, Ind., to Raymond and Blanche Wilt Manning. On Aug. 28, 1946, she married John F. Murphy, who survives.
Other survivors are two daughters, Rita (Ray) Feltz, Celina, and Teresa (Roger) Steinbrunner, St. Henry; a brother, William (Connie) Manning, Geneva, Ind.; five sisters, Louise Bosworth, Albany, Ind., Naomi Mann, Portland, Ind., Wanda (Bill) Pyle, Celina, Jean (Harold) Smith, Geneva, Nadine MacWhinney, Columbus; and seven grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Merritt, Junior and Robert Manning; three sisters, Martha Eileen McCreery, Margaret Sims and an infant sister, Mary Evon Manning.
She was a homemaker and did babysitting in her home for many years. She attended school in Bryant, Ind., was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, and its altar rosary society, and was a former Girl Scout of America leader in Celina.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Richard Riedel officiating. Burial is at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Friday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina.
Contributions can be made to the Immaculate Conception Education Endowment Fund or the donor's choice.
