* WHERE...In Indiana, Wayne County. In Ohio, Auglaize, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, and Shelby Counties.
* WHEN...From 6 AM to noon EST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...While temperatures are expected to be in the upper single digits (above zero), a northwest wind at 10-15 mph will make temperatures feel as if they are colder than 10 below zero.

Elma Painter
Elma Irene Painter, 96, 202 Glenn St., Mendon, died at 8:55 a.m. Dec. 21, 2006, at The Gardens at Celina.
She was born Nov. 28, 1910, in Mendon, to Urban and Vina Wharton Clay. On July 26, 1948, she married Paul Painter, who died March 21, 1970.
Survivors are two daughters, Phyllis (Dan) Beougher, Celina, and Pamela (Mike) Hillary, Mendon; a son-in-law, Rex Searight, Mendon; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Patricia Searight; and a grandchild.
She was a cook at Colonial Nursing Home, Rockford.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Kenneth Baker officiating. Burial is at Mendon Cemetery.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
