Rosella Boerger

Rosella J. Boerger, 89, of Fort Loramie, died at 12:15 a.m. Dec. 23, 2006, at Hospice of Dayton. She was ill one week.

She was born Feb. 24, 1917, in Minster, to Clemens and Catherine Kaiser Enneking. On April 22, 1936, she married Leo B. Boerger, who died Nov. 24, 2002.

Survivors are four sons, Charles (Carla), Fort Wayne, Ind., Melvin (Janie), Vandalia, and Dennis (Patti) and Donald (Pat), all of Sidney; three daughters, Betty Bergman and Janet (Ken) Monnin, all of Minster, and Mary (Ray) Morton, Birmingham, Ala.; a sister-in-law, Zita Enneking, Minster; 23 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a son-in-law, Roland Bergman; a daughter-in-law, Patricia; four brothers and three sisters.

She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and its St. Anne Ladies Sodality, Fort Loramie; Catholic Ladies of Columbia; and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1391 Auxiliary, Minster.

Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.

Calling is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.

Contributions can be made to the St. Michael Improvement Fund.
