Periods of light snow along with scattered snow showers will continue through the overnight and into Thursday morning. Accumulations are expected to be light, however, with dropping temperatures, slick spots will be possible for the Thursday morning commute. Some snow showers may produce a quick few tenths to a half inch of accumulation, which would increase the potential for slick spots in localized areas. If traveling, use caution, as road conditions could quickly change across short distances and on elevated surfaces like bridges and overpasses.

Brilliant shades of orange color the sky early this morning along West Bank Road in Celina. The high today is expected to reach 41 degrees with partly cloudy skies. Tomorrow's high of 43 also will be accompanied by partly cloudy skies.
