The final and largest of the three murals in St. Marys Heritage Park was installed recently at the corner of West Spring and Chestnut streets. Artist Dan Keyes, New Bremen, painted the murals to depict the beginning of recorded local history to the mid-20th century. The project was funded by private donors filtered through St. Marys Community Improvement Corporation. The donations included $25,000 from Eagles Aerie 767 in St. Marys.
