Betty Hinkle
Betty Dee Hinkle, 82, 5620 Tama Road, Celina, died at 3:10 p.m. Feb. 9, 2007, at the Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
She was born Feb. 26, 1924, in Celina, to D.W. and Edith Hellwarth Fast. On Aug. 24, 1946, she married E. Maurice Hinkle, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Dennis (Lynn), Celina; a daughter, Linda Clay, Dayton; two sisters, Katherin (Walter) Baney, Lima, and Ruth Mae (John) Schanbacher, Warsaw, Ind.; and two grandchildren.  
Deceased are two brothers, Robert Fast and Paul Fast; and three sisters, Mary Helen Arnold, Mildred Ransbottom and Mabel Fast.
She retired after 30 years from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, St. Marys, and was a homemaker. She graduated from Rockford High School in 1942, was a member of Mount Tabor Church of God, Celina, and its women's group, CGWM, and TOPPS #1066. She also taught Sunday school.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. James Keiser officiating. Burial to follow at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, and 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
