Photo by Mark Pummell/The Daily Standard

Kayla Boysell, 11, takes a face full of snow after hitting a drift at the bottom of the sledding hill at Eastview Park in Celina on Wednesday afternoon. Erika Draiss sits on the back of the sled in relative safety. Children across the Grand Lake area enjoyed a day off school due to blizzard conditions, and happily played on piles of snow - some more than 5 feet high.
