Donald Kantner
Donald "Fuzz" Kantner, 80, 1705 Fenway Court, St. Marys, died Feb. 17, 2007, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 21, 1926, in Wapakoneta, to Gilbert and Caroline Frey Kantner. On July 31, 1951, he married Mary McEvoy, who survives.
Survivors are a son, Robert (Donna), St. Marys; two daughters, Pamela (Butch) Jackson, Lima, and Denise Brown, St. Marys; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Dennis; three brothers, Melvin, William and Harold; and a sister, Mildred Coil.
He was owner/operator of Wapak Tool and Die Company since 1964 and was a 1944 graduate of Blume High School, Wapakoneta. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, where he served as an usher.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Anthony Cutcher officiating. Burial is at Gethsemane Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
