Mary Sturwold
Mary Jane Sturwold, 69, 2222 Fessler-Buxton Road, Russia, died at 8:05 p.m. March 5, 2007, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.
She was born Dec. 5, 1937, in St. Patrick, to Wilbert and Viola Gariety Luthman; her mother survives in St. Patrick. On June 27, 1959, she married Wilbur A. Sturwold, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Robert and Wilbur J. (Carrie), all of Fort Loramie, and David (Kelly), Minster; two daughters, Kathy, Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Barbara (Jeff) Brandewie, Minster; four brothers, Bill (Joyce) Luthman and Kenny (Nancy) Luthman, all of Russia, Al Luthman, St. Patrick, and Larry Luthman, Sidney; four sisters, Norma Barhorst, St. Patrick, Carol (Ray) Homan, Anna, Ruth (Paul) Richard, Sidney, and Rita (Herb) Fleckenstein, Fort Loramie; and seven grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Robert Luthman; and two sisters, Eileen Drees and Irene Luthman.
She was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia, where she helped in Eucharistic adoration.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Frank Amberger officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles.
