Norma Burchett
Norma Ann Burchett, 71, 232 N. Main St., Minster, died at 4:40 p.m. March 25, 2007, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster.
She was born March 30, 1935, in Minster, to Lawrence and Elizabeth Sturwold Naber. On Nov. 13, 1954, she married Waldo W. Burchett, who survives.
Also surviving are five daughters, Ann (Kerry) Sparks, Columbus, Pat (Darrell) Kelbel, Beth (John) Winner and Mary Jo (Jeff) Monnin, all of Minster, and Janice (Jerry) Aselage, Fort Loramie; a sister, Mary Schmiesing, Minster; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are an infant son; a brother, Vernon Naber; a sister, Wilma Heinl; and two brothers-in-law, Harry Heinl and Tom Schmiesing.
She retired from Minster Machine after 25 years and was a 1953 graduate of Minster High School. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, serving as communion distributor and religion teacher, American Legion Auxiliary Post 387 of Minster, and the Minster Civic Association.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Revs. Rick Nieberding and Louis Schmit officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
