Scattered snow showers will continue through mid morning. With temperatures well below freezing, light snow accumulations will combine with lingering black ice from overnight, to create some slick spots on area roadways. In addition, brisk westerly winds will gust in the 25 to 35 mph range this morning.
If traveling this morning, allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses as well as untreated surfaces.

Birds of a feather

This group of geese seems to patrol the shoreline on the northeast side of Grand Lake on Tuesday evening enjoying the 76 degree temperature. This afternoon will bring a high of 58 along with showers and perhaps a thunderstorm. Tomorrow's high will be 59, partly cloudy and breezy.
