Periods of light snow will occur this evening and through the overnight. While accumulating snow is expected to end before Thursday morning, falling temperatures and light snow accumulations of one to two inches will result in slick travel tonight and early Thursday.
Slick spots can be expected on roadways, especially bridges and overpasses. If traveling, allow for some extra time to reach your destination and be prepared for wintery driving conditions.
In addition to the snowfall, falling temperatures combined with increased winds will result in feels-like temperatures near zero Thursday morning. If heading outdoors, dress in multiple layers.

This wheat field along the west side of Celina-Mendon Road contains huge bare patches and standing water in some areas. Much of the wheat that is still alive is brown. Though not widespread, some of the county's wheat did not fare too well over the winter and in recent weeks when a spate of freezing weather damaged some of it further.
