An Arctic front will sweep east across the region between 5 AM and 9 AM. A few hours of snow showers and west wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph will occur with the frontal passage. While any accumulations will generally be a half inch or less, some challenging travel conditions may develop given, rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities, strong wind and cold temperatures. These conditions will impact the morning commute. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

William Ashbaugh
Former St. Marys resident William Ashbaugh, 56, of Lima, died at 4:33 p.m. May 7, 2007, in the emergency department at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. Death was due to an apparent heart attack.
He was born May 27, 1950, in Lima, to William and Mary Jo Hardin Ashbaugh.
Surviving are a brother, Todd (Karen), Coldwater; two sisters, Marlene, Bellefontaine, and Deb Morrissey, St. Marys.
Deceased is a brother, Alan.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam Era, a 1969 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys, and had attended Wright State University, Dayton. He was a member of St. Marys Community of Christ Church.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, Elder Robert Deitsch officiating. Burial is at National Cemetery, Dayton.
Calling is after 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
