Students from Immaculate Conception Elementary School get a feel for piloting a Hyper Vipe airplane during a field trip to Lakefield Airport in Montezuma on Monday. The sixth-graders also viewed a film about flying and were given other lessons on the subject by airport Manager Mike McCorkle, before heading for the clouds during a brief ride in an airplane. Left to right are Katlin Robinson, Briana Schmitt, Greg Axe and Julia Folk.
