Brother Denis Rumschlag, 89, looks over the shoulder of his cousin, the Rev. Larry Heiman, as the two share a moment of fellowship in an infirmary hallway at St. Charles Center in Carthagena. Rumschlag, who retired as infirmary director in 1995, remains an important caregiver for the retired and/or ill clergy at the center. Next month he will celebrate his 60th year as a religious brother with the Missionaries of the Precious Blood.
