Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off into tonight.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset and beyond as temperatures drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Patrons of the Mercer and Auglaize County district libraries continue to take advantage of the inter-library loan system, which provide access to millions of resources across the state.
Mercer County District Library Director Austin Schneider said the total circulation for the library and its branches in 2006 was 318,163 items, which included 58,618 borrowed from other libraries and 36,444 items loaned out to other libraries. [More]
