Red-faced over bridge in Bremen

NEW BREMEN - The recent painting of Morrison Bridge, the oldest bowstring girder bridge in the state, has one local resident seeing red in more ways than one.

New grade cards break down academic information

FORT RECOVERY - A new standards-based grade card will be introduced in grades K-2 for the upcoming school year, replacing traditional letter grades, according to elementary Principal Shelly Vaughn.
During the regular school board meeting on Tuesday evening, Vaughn told board members elementary teachers are prepared and enthusiastic for the new report card, which will more accurately assess academic content, the state accountability system and the district's continuous improvement plan. [More]
