Richard Osterholt
Richard H. Osterholt, 64, of Vandalia, died Aug. 23, 2007, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 10, 1942, in Mercer County, to Carl V. and Eileen M. Remaklus Osterholt. He married his wife of 40 years, Marilyn Osterholt, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Alan (Michelle), Vandalia, Jay, Hilliard, and Ryan (Mollie), Moraine; a daughter, Amy (Matt) Miller, Vandalia; three brothers, Dennis (Irene), Larry, and James (Judy); two sisters, Linda May, and Mary Jane (Bob) Fortkamp; and five grandchildren.
He retired from Reynolds & Reynolds, Dayton, after 40 years and was a local tax preparer in the Dayton area for many years. He was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, Vandalia.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Francis Keferl officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. today at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
